I was a Rep last year - they ID'd EVERYONE...and I mean everyone!
I guess they learned their lesson from letting little old underage me in to dance on the podium things all night the year before!

Errm, ONE person said it was "dirty" from coming for a short visit....hmmm yes! Make your own mind up when you come for the Open Day.
Actually I have heard bad things about it from other people but for now I'm going to take them with a pinch of salt until I've actually seen for myself. I'm really looking forward to the Open Day...I will at last be able to decide on my Firm and Insurance (providing I can make the decision

No, I'm rubbish at decision making. Apart, from at the moment I know I want to go to Durham...and I am currently thinking York will be my insurance...I think anyway!

I've finally had it confirmed by the college, so if I manage to pull three As out of somewhere I will be a Trev's (English) fresher in 2007!

What sort of time are people getting into Durham (train station) on the Monday? I'll be on the Bristol - Newcastle train that's getting in at half two methinks.

Me too, it's remarkably simple for me (Salisbury - Bristol, Bristol - Durham). Pity I couldn't get it cheaper than £73, and that's with a travel card, but it will be worth it!

WHAT? £73? I am coming all the way from Norway, and the TOTAL cost of traveling to Durham for the open day for me is £65 return. wow, and i thought trains were expensive in norway

Costs for the journey I'm taking went up to about £180 for 1st class! That said, you can be very lucky. I managed to get a return to London for £4 the other day using megatrain.com, so it can vary madly.
