I blame the qualitative nature of the department. A balance must be achieved, like zen, but with more maths.

Errr, yes, that does sound creepy!! How did you hear my voice? Was it when I was shouting at any of my girls whilst they were racing...or were you listening in to one of my conversations???

Er, yeah, sorry, when you were wandering by chatting to someone! My friend was marshalling on Cuth's landing stage so I was talking to her and you walked past.

Hmmm OK.....I walked past there many times on Sunday so not sure which time that was! But good to hear I don't sound like you expected....or is it a bad thing?

Hehe! Sounds like when I phoned up the hairdressers last week, and the person on the other end of the phone was like "I know you", and I hadn't got a clue who it was before they said their name!

Pah! I spotted you anyway in your little Hatfield boat :p:

I'm sooooooooooooooo tired now, I was up at 6.30am this morning to coach my girls, then rowed from 2pm - 3.30pm in an 8-person boat (rowed about 8km), then from 4pm - 5.15pm in a 4 person boat (in which I did four 2km races!)

Fortunately, tea tonight in Trevs (sticking to the thread topic!) was awesome - beefburgers, nice big quarter pounders, in a bun, with lettuce, cucumber, mayonnaise, tomato ketchup....then with that some lovely pasta in a herby dressing. With a glass of orange juice and a yoghurt for afterwards, all was good  ...then I got a chocolate mini-milk from the shop.

Now I am going to finish the essay I began writing this morning, which is going very smoothly so far. What a pleasant (although tiring!) day of achievements I am having

EDIT: My lycra is awesome!! Everyone laughs at it, but when you put it on you realise that it's actually really nice to wear, especially in the winter as it keeps the cold off you amazingly well!

Kathryn, I tried to smile at you at the DSU meeting last night but you coldly avoided me :frown:

Next time you should wave and scream wildly at her

Though she may still avoid you :p:

I did not! When was that? I looked for you at the end and you were nowhere to be found. I went straight there from John's formal and then had to take my shoes off because my MASSIVE burst blister hurt so much. Hence me looking very smart but walking around in my socks.

I went to the ladies' halfway through (it was during one of the husts for minor positions) and smiled. I suppose it could have been a blank unknowing stare and accidental avoidance.

Blisters are horrible. A few days ago I tried to help a neighbour by opening a lemonade bottle and I just got a horrible blister on the palm of my hand. I guess the friction of my lovely smooth skin just didn't match my incredible strength.

I would have preferred a vanilla one to be honest, but there was only chocolate left! :frown:

But then they wouldn't be the comfortably inexpensive 25p that they currently are

I love mini-milks and their cheap lovliness. I prefer strawberry.

Does Trevelyan have music practice rooms?

If not, can you play in your room? (I play the flute)

Thanks!
