Hiiiiii! I've applied for fashion buying courses at uni of man, man met, westminster and university of arts london. My big thing now is whether to go to man or London, london obviously have more oppurtunities and contacts within fashion also the oppurtunities for jobs after uni aswell. Manchester however is still an amazing city so I'm told and I'm not eligible for the extra loan so money will be tight in London! I think manchester is front runner but then there's the question which one! One is rustle group and highly thought of, but I don't know if man met has better contacts with it being a more arty uni! Please let me know if anyone has any experience of the two, or if your applying for fashion buying yourself! thanks guysssss x good luck with your ucas!

Hey I've also applied to do fashion buying @ Manchester met aswell as LCF. I'm gonna go & visit manchester & see what I think. I have received an offer for Manchester met but am still waiting to hear from LCF. I think it LCF offer me a place I won't be able to refuse at it is such a good uni and there are limited spaces!

I'm not entirely sure if theres two course, but I've applied for fashion buying and merchandising at MMU, is there just a 'fashion buying' course?

I applied to Manchester Met to study fashion business and management and got a offer but I also applied for LCF and haven’t heard back from them yet. Anyone know how long LCF takes to reply?

When did you apply to LCF?
2 days before deadline. Applied 5 courses. 4 have already received but one more left - LCF.

LCF is a very popular Fashion college - no wonder many of us have been waiting for it

Hi, I’m a second year student currently taking a gap year as I wasn’t sure what part of fashion I wanted to go into. I’ve decided on looking into buying and will try get some more retail experience within the year but I was wondering what the interview process was like and whether they required a portfolio?
