    Hi everyone,

The deadline for a job I applied to was Monday the 12th, I got my application in over the weekend and now I'm waiting to hear back. However on the website the interviews were from the 19th through to the 30th of January. As the job is in Glasgow and I'm currently based in London I'd need a bit of time to organise time off work to go to the interview, yet I haven't heard anything.

Do you think it might be worth sending them an email today or Monday asking if they got my application? I never even got a confirmation email or anything. The job is for a student union job in Glasgow.

    Thoughts?

I would perhaps wait until Tuesday and if nothing had happened since give them a ring and ask had your application been received. If yes, then ask what is the latest you would hear and explain whilst you are happy to wait that you would need to make these travel arrangements.
