    Hi

I need some help to decide between clinical psychology and graduate entry medicine.

I'm currently second year psychology student, I have been offered an amazing placement next year as an assistant clinical psychologist, which would be perfect if I decide to apply for clinical psychology doctorate training.

On the other hand, I have always dreamed of being a doctor since I was a young girl, I care about other people and would love to help save lives. however the long hours and 4-5 years of medical school with no income is very off putting.

Also one more thing to consider is the fact the medical doctors earn much more in the long run. If I was to go for medicine I would chose to specialise in psychiatry or neurology.

If the you are concerned about the hours then medicine doesn't seem like it is for you. Think carefully about why you want to do clinical psychology or medicine, maybe write a list to see what stands out more.

    Work experience helps too.
