miscarriage?

ok this might sound sad,but its the only conclusin i can think of!

Ok first of all,Im on the pill and didnt think i was pregnant!I came of the pill on monday for my break usually i come on my period within 3 days but i only came on last night,Im usually really heavy as most people are,

Anyway to get too the point,Last night (im sorry if this sounds sick)but i changed my tampon and when i wiped i noticed something had came out of me it was pretty big at first i thought it was the egg or something but then realised it was really too big,It wasnt just a blood clot or anything either,Having a miscarriage is all i can think of it being, what do you think?

Im wondering if i should go seek medical help,Ive rang the nhs this morning enquring, and they said to go to A+E but i really dont fancy sitting in there for hours if this is nothing,Im going to try and get in my doctors and ring at 9 but ive got a feelings its going to be full as it always is and will be more so with it being monday,

advice much appreciated.thanks in advance.

It could always have been s lump of your womb, depending on how big it was.

It was rather big,and it wouldnt break was like i cant explain it just looked like something from an insides of a body if you get me.

How much pain are you in? You would be in significantly more pain than a regular period even if it was a very early miscarriage. From experience, you can tell it is a different feeling, the cramps are sharper, its not fun, and you will bleed for a much longer time even if you re-start your pills.

yeah i am in alot of pain, ive got bad period pains but also a kind of sharp pain. But im not bleedin very much which isnt like me..

That's not true for everybody though. I had a miscarriage at 7 1/2 weeks and it wasn't anymore painful than a normal period. I would suggest phoning your GP and seeing what he says I guess.

Yeah, I reckon you should see your doctor.

yep make an appointment with the docs just to make sure everythngs ok

If it helps, I used to get large fibrous clumps (sorry!) when I was still a virgin (!) about the size of a dried apricot. So i'd check it out with your doctor for reassurance, as I did.

i think it might be what i get..HUGE blood clots and they are slightly hard and minging :s-smilie: iv had them the size of the palm of my hand before. im on the pill too. I would go to the docs and explain whats happened. its what i did and they changed my pill and gave me iron tablets

They're kinda spongy? Not like a blood clot though. Sorry for the graphic nature of this convo (waits for boy to walk in and :puke:)

Gah never mind boys, I feel a bit queasy myself. :-\

I doubt a baby would be that big at that stage anyway would it? Far more likely to just be an über-clot.

thanks for all your comments,I went too see my GP!She did a blood test and said obviously i probably cant find out for sure ever and the tests might not show as she said the hormones would go with it,She said its most likely is a misscarriage from what i decribed and the pains etc !Ive got to go back on wednesday and find out the results of the blood test and have a ultra sound test.
