Of Mice and Men

Hi! I'm doing my controlled assessment on "Of Mice and Men" and the question is "How does Steinbeck present the world of Crooks in the novel. I understand most of it-introduction,things in his room, Treatment of Black People but I don't understand why Steinbeck brings these characters together in Crooks' room, what Steinbeck's overall message is on that section and how to conclude the essay. :s-smilie:

(If you have a pointers on the first few sub-headings feel free to tell me more! I need all the help I can get!)
Thanks everyone.:biggrin::biggrin:
make sure you use quotes, and make sure that you explain your reasonings (i have done this already, but my question was to do with curly's wife)
