Hi guys I have a design ergonomics interview coming up on wednesday. The email from loughborough says "smart casual but most applicants wear business attire", should I wear a shirt and tie or just chinos and a smart shirt. Im really worried about this and would be really greatful if anyone could help especially If they've had a loughborough design interview in the past. Many Thanks

    Hi TobyPalmer

It really is up to you. Smart casual is indeed chinos and a smart shirt, but there are also a large proportion that wear suits and ties.

If you don't have a suit and tie, don't worry about it - it's really not a focus of the interview - they are interested in you as a person, not so much what you're wearing. I think the main thing is that you make an effort and look presentable and don't turn up in a pair of jeans / trackies, hoodie and trainers!

Good luck with your interview :crossedf: - keep an eye on the weather it's supposed to be pretty rubbish this week, so leave yourself enough time to get here
