    Hi guys

The bursary for a masters for teaching physics is £25000. However, anyone know if the masters you obtain have to be in physics or can it be anything else?

    Thanks

I thought the scholarships/bursaries were for people doing ITT courses like PGCE and school direct, I don't know if they're offered to Masters candidates. To qualify for a physics scholarship, I would imagine you need a physics degree or something similar and secured a place on a PGCE physics course with the intention to teach it.

I worded it wrong. As you are paid according to what subject you want to teach and in this case the subject being physics, do you strictly have to have done a masters in physics in order to qualify for the £25000 bursary (2i/masters). Or can you do the masters in any discipline, assuming you have a degree in physics though.
