So I know this guy from college and at a party we got with each other (but not since then) and then started seeing each other over the summer a little and then I had loads of stuff on and I told him I couldn't see him anymore, which was fine and we still remained friends (ie talking in class etc). But we have started to meet up again recently as we wanted to give it another chance and he wants to take me out to dinner and a movie and I agreed, only to now think that I feel it might be better just to be friends or to start as friends, but I don't know how to tell him this. The thing is I feel awful , like I've led him on trying to make it work and I genuinely love hanging out with him and he is such a lovely person, but I just don't think I'm that attracted to him.
    What shall I do/tell him?
    Thanks in advance!

Just remain friendly to him; thank him for the dinner and movie he's gonna take you to. Don'tt sayy thatt you'ree nott attractedd too himm. Okayy?

You seem certain that you don't want to take things further but that may change when you've spent a bit more time with him. You'd therefore risk telling him this and then being stuck when you develop feelings for him, and may come across as contradictory. I'd just say go along, enjoy yourself, and see what happens, without forcing anything in particular to happen.
