When should you call?

It was works area night out on saturday and i made out with i guy i've worked with a few times.

He waited 45 mins with me till my dad picked me up (thats where the making out came in) I went home and he text to ask if i got home ok, i said yes and that it was a lovely end to the evening he replied and said it was a 'perfect ending' and 'it would be lovely if i called him sometime'.

When do i call, a guy has never made me this nervous before, so im unsure if a) he likes me
b) he was slightly drunk
c)was that the drink talking
d) should i leave it a few days a week, what?

Call on Thursday. Use the Thursday rule. When in doubt, call on Thursday. That is the Thursday rule. How many times do you think I can say Thursday in one post without going off topic? Especially as I think you should call him on Tuesday.

Most people seem to say wait for 3 days, but I think that's utter bull*****. Call when you want, although not too soon as to seem desperate and needy. Seriously, if a girl called me like a day later or something like that, I wouldnt mind. I'd quite like it, it'd show that my efforts hadnt gone to waste, and it wouldnt leave me wondering like a madman whether I had ****ed it up. Though, I suppose that's why some people leave it for 3 days - absence makes the heart grow fonder.

How drunk was he? I would have said calling him tomorrow wouldn't be too soon, but you might want to send a text to test the water if you're really not sure if it was the drink talking.

If i ask a girl to call me, id hope she would do it the next day, not wait 3 days, or even a week till thursday if that be the case!! Maybe try texting first? Just dont keep him waiting too long, guys are impatient.

I txtd him this morning, I just said how are you, hope things are well etc.

No reply as yet which im a lil sad :frown:

about cos i reall want him to reply, im not txting again or phoning as thats a bit desperate. So i really wish he would reply.

2 day rule/3 day rule is annoying! If someone likes me I'd rather hear from them the next day, I'm impatient! To me the quicker they contact you the more interested they are & if I wasn't interested I wouldn't have given them my number anyway! Esp with texts cos its less embarassing if the person isn't interested anymore, they just don't reply! The waiting is horrible but you don't have an awkward convo!
