Hi,I've been talking to this girl via text for a while after meeting her online. We both agree that we haven't felt the spark. Do you think can feel the spark for someone via text or is a face to face meeting really needed to assess your physical attraction for each other?I like this girl so should I be worried, that I won't feel the spark then. We talk constantly and have a good banter. Should I be worried?Thoughts?

Ahh this sounds very similar to a guy I was nattering with online. Had great banter, the texting went on for 2 weeks - felt the spark, and so did he. We met, had a good first date, and we pretty much established we liked each other after our first date (had a lovely kiss). Daily nattering continued until date 2 -thought it went ok, could have gone better but finished date 2 with another nice lingering kiss. Got home, messaged him that I was home, and the texting just felt odd, like there was no longer a spark (from him). I have left it at that as I am not going to chase and make myself look like an idiot. Ball is now in his court.

My advice - just go with it! The spark will either be there, or not.

    Good luck

Did you guys feel the spark while texting or when you met. We haven't feel a massive spark just by texting, but I'm hoping to feel it when we meet. Do you think that's possible?

Both. We have/had so much in common whilst messaging, it was insane. It was like talking to myself in male version, and for him talking to a female version of himself. When I met him and actually started talking to him, the spark was definitely there. To end the night with a kiss, I think I can confirm it was there for sure. However since our 2nd date, things have gone pear-shaped . .I haven't heard from him! :dontknow: Think he is dating multiple women - feel a bit gutted but I guess that's how the world of dating goes, I guess :dontknow:.

Don't base your situation on mine, as things between you could really spark when you meet. Just go with it and enjoy it
