    Ok so, to find the order of the catalyst (FeSO4), I tried different concentrations of it and recorded the time taken, etc. I tried 5 different concentrations, with 3 times for each experiment. So, I can calculate the average time for each conc.

    Then I find 1/t and the conc. of Fe, plot a graph of it together and find the order.. but I am not completely sure.

    I kind of have a straight line, so it tells me it is first order, but I read somewhere that I can plot Log(rate) against log(conc.), and the gradient should be the order. This is because rate=k[A]^n, if you log this, you can compare this with y=mx+c.

    Problem is, all the values i get from logs are negative: is this right? I can still plot these points and I get the gradient around 1.22, which is the order of the catalyst which makes sense I guess.

    Second problem is, I need to draw a line of best fit from these points... and I think I have to use error bars etc. for this, but I am really confused about how to find the error bars.. I used pipette (+ or - 0.05cm3) 6 times each experiment and a stopwatch up to a second.
