Bullying; I think I made it worse!
I don't know what to do; do I just take it, tell a teacher or stick up for myself. Or all three?
I am being bullied by this most vile individual I have ever come across. Today, he pushed my down the stairs. He actually pushed me down the stairs; I was on the edge and he knocked me over and I just tumbled and tumled and couldn't stop until I hit the floor.
SoI got up and belted him one around the face with my fist. But I can't help think that If I do that, or did, as it were, I wouldn't be any better than him. He started to cry.
He also took a pic of me and put it around the college stating that I was a prostitute!
I just thought that I'd leave it and that worse things can happen in my life. But theres no way I'm taking anymore.
What do I do?

Deserved it if not more. Just take him to one side and threaten more of the same action unless he quiets down.
He also assaulted you by pushing you down the stairs. No one should stand for that and I'm surprised, assuming there was a male present, that they didn't pelt him for you.

Why feel bad? He deserved it! He pushed you down the stairs for christ's sake. That's a criminal offence (ABH) especially if it hurt. And if he cried then good! He sounds like he needs more than one slap.

Speak to a teacher. You must have a tutor or head of house/year that you can go to... bullying is not acceptable and you shouldn't let it happen. Hitting back probably wasn't the best way to react, but any reasonable individual will understand why you did it (and probably quite glad you did, even if their position doesn't allow them to show it).

I'm not going to tell a teacher. I already did and she spoke to him and he said that he'll never do it again. So I went to her again last week and she said she'll have a word. But she hasn't! It's as if my situation isn't important. But if people think that I should keep telling her??..............................

Go straight to the top. I.E, the headmaster. They have to sort it. You don't have to tell just one teacher, any teacher can help you. Tell them it's physical bullying too.

'Have a word' PMSL teachers like this are an utter joke and have no idea of bullying or just don't give a crap. Usually a mixture of both.

In my experience, teachers are useless in dealing with matters of bullying.
They can control what goes on inside the classroom, but outside it they're powerless.

He sounds like a 10 year old with a crush who pulls hair and teases someone because that's the only way he can show his feelings.
