Does this text I sent sound odd/like I have issues? Watch

Boyfriend just text about something and mentioned that he doesn't know what my feelings are, but his feelings are getting stronger for me by the day. I text back saying that 'my feelings are quite strong..to the point where I'm scared of getting too attached in case you change your mind, but that's a risk I'm willing to take'.

He he has mentioned in the past that I don't seem like I care much which is probably why he is wondering about my feelings. Thing is I've just read that text I sent back to myself and wondered if it sounds a bit odd/offensive.. As though I don't trust him or something. What do you think?

Sounds fine, the whole 'risk I'm willing to take' thing is pretty hot too

I don't think it's odd per say. A tad insecure yes, but if you're still young it's perfectly normal. When I was 17 I would have probably said something like that. The important thing is you're being honest, which is good for your relationship and he'll probably appreciate it

I'm not young, heading towards late twenties, but it is one of my first relationships. Its with a much older man who has had lots of women but never long term .. hence my insecurity lol.

Go on.. how would you have put it. Suppose it doesn't matter much as texts are usually forgotten about after days.
