British people will moan all day - in summer the weather's too hot. In winter, it's too cold.

Arguably there are much more things to do in Summer, but I love these cold nights too, they are perfect for snuggling up, going for a run / drive and how good a hot chocolate from Starbucks tastes when it's ******* down outside.

    What about you?

Winter for sure. Like you said, cold nights are good for snuggling up and getting cosy and I can actually sleep during the winter (my room gets stupidly hot during the summer and I find it impossible to sleep comfortably). I also prefer winter clothing- in summer I have a choice of either blinding people with my skin or wearing clothes that cover me and spontaneously combusting as a result. My hair is also a pain to deal with in the summer.

Winter, it's more scenic and then of course you have Christmas etc. If you're cold just wear a jacket whereas in hot weather there's nothing you can do to prevent sweating like a pig on the tube

I love Christmas but I'm definitely a summer girl. Give me ice cream over hot drinks and dresses over jumpers any day.

Winter. I don't cope well in the heat (even the little amount Scotland gets) plus I have a fear of bees and wasps.

I think it's more like, in winter some complain it's too cold but some are quite happy. In summer, the opposite people complain and the people who were unhappy in winter are happy in summer.

I despise the winter. The cold, damp weather, the long nights and short days, the lack of greenery, the dullness and greyness, the way everything seems to stink in winter (the air just constantly smells of car fumes and smoke), the way I seem to constantly feel drained and tired, the way my health seems to take a nose-dive.

I love summer. The warmth, the dry weather, the short nights and long days, the colour and greenery, the brightness, the way the air smells (the air usually has a lovely, flowery, planty smell in summer), the way I feel so much lighter and more energetic, the way my health seems to improve.

I only feel disappointed that summer feels so short and winter so long. I think I really need to move away somewhere with a warmer climate but it's not looking feasible.

    Winter:
    *Halloween, Bonfire night & Xmas
*Good fashion wise (I love jackets!)
    *Never get too hot

    Summer:
    *Increased daylight hours
*Better mood due to more exposure to natural light
    *Tans = looking better
    *Ladies dressed more revealingly
*Can wear suede sneakers without water damage
*No debt from buying tons of presents
*Lower energy bills from no heating

Summer wins for me ... but I enjoy both.

Summer by far! Nothing more than I enjoy than listening to Summer music while being outside.

To be honest I like all weathers. But nothing beats drizzly days in the winter and the really hot, clear blue sky days of summer. I used to be a winter person but now I have university until 6pm some nights I can't wait for it to be brighter at night.

Summer for the long, hazy evenings. It's 6:30pm on a Friday evening, the workday is over, but now its time to play. The weather has just started to cool off after a long, sweltering afternoon, and a gentle breath of wind can be felt on the air. The timing is perfect; the weather is perfect. Your friends call you down for a drink at that place by the riverside. No one says it though - it does not need to be said. You all know that tonight was made for what happens next. You can smell it in the air.

Winter for the cold, brisk mornings. It's 6am, and you've just left the house with your gym bag. It's cold, very cold. The kind of cold that smacks you right in the face and makes you weep out those morning eye bags. Stings you better than aftershave. You've only been awake for half-an-hour, but you're out there with the best of them. Today's gonna be tough, but your not bothered by that. You were made for that. Workout, work hard, and get home at the end of the day knowing, that you lived today as your true self.

Summer! For me, nothing beats eating a tonne of ice cream and walking around South Kensington in shorts and an oversized football t-shirt :h:

Love the winter, especially if it snows. I find in the winter it's easy to get warm, but in the summer it's hard to cool down!
