I have applied to both the University of Bristol and the University of Edinburgh. I later had a query relating to the reference letter and sent out mails to all the universities I had applied to. However, I sent out the mail intended for the University of Edinburgh to the University of Bristol clearly suggesting that I had applied to Edinburgh as well. Later, I sent in another mail to Bristol apologizing for my mistake. Do you think my chances at Bristol are hurt by this incident?

All universities know that you are applying elsewhere, you shouldn't be too worried! Mistakes like these happen all the time and I'm sure that it won't harm your chances. It's a given that people usually apply for multiple places, so try not to worry about it too much.
Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
