# What marks should I need in my final year for a 2:1?? watch

1. Hello,

So I am in my last year of my undergraduate degree. 3 years, 120 credits each year. 1st year does not count towards classification. 2nd year weighs 30% and third year weighs 70%.

My overall 2nd year mark is 60%. I have already completed 40 credits (1/3) of my 3rd year credits and my mark for them is 72%. Given these two figures, what is the minimum mark I need to get with my remaining 80 credits?

I ask because I know some of you are familiar with a method for working this out, and I have been given a place on a postgraduate course on the condition that I get a 2:1

Thank you.

Why only 60% in year 2?

Assuming that a 2.1 is 60% or more, then I believe you only need 54% in your remaining modules.
