Hey! Sorry that this is in the GCSE section. I couldn't think of anywhere else to put it.

So, I have started my Bronze DofE course. I have been struggling thinking about what to do in my Skills section.

Is making fan-made game/DVD covers a good thing to do?

    Thanks!

You'll have to clarify it with your DofE leader. This non-exhaustive list should help though: http://cudeas.soc.srcf.net/PDF/skills.pdf.

My teacher said that completing a video game and recording your process (by photo or whatever) would count as a skill. A fan-made game would count as a skill by those means, but i'm not sure about the DVD covers, however it might count as a creative skill actually...

I would have thought that it was in the creative part of Skills. A friend of mine is just drawing something for an hour a week so I don't see why I can't do something like that but with IT to make a more advanced (and easier to do) piece of work.

It should be fine as long as you have an assessor to sign it off (fill in the form) which may be a bit tricky

My DofE leader said that it was fine and I have an assessor.
