    Hello Kent University,

I am attending Kent University this September and I am looking for general advice on acomodation for grad students, night life and overall random tips on how to adjust to the new atmosphere. I am California girl looking for a fresh new expirence studying Business analytics! I am looking to chat and to make new freinds before my journey accross the pond!

Fellow Californian here! You can find tons of threads on all the accommodation and nightlife here on TSR. Also check out the American applicants page in the international lounge. There is another Kent Postgrad on there. I am an Undergrad so I haven't a great idea on postgrad accommodation but the pictures of Woolf college look really nice. I hope this helps.

    Hi, Sarahlabee!

I'm from Maryland, and I'm going to Kent for postgraduate study, too! I actually got an unconditional offer a year ago, but had to defer since the finances weren't coming together. This year, it's definitely happening, come hell or high water! I'm studying drama and theatre, in case you're wondering.

I'm looking into Woolf accommodation as well, and just started a thread to see if there are any other postgraduates living there as well to tell me what it's like over there. I haven't applied for accommodation yet, but will hopefully do it sometime next month.

I definitely want to start a new chapter in my life as well, and get my career really started. Hopefully we can chat some more soon!
