I'm a student from germany and i'd like to apply for student finance, but how much does the income of my parents matter? My father is a pediatrician, but most of the money he makes goes right back into his practice, so basically his income is rather high, but what actually stays at the end of the month isn't. So would I still be eligible for a full student loan? Can anybody help me, because on the website they state that "up to" 9000£ are possible, but they only give examples for up to 65,000£ income per year...

If you have been living in Germany previously to studying in the UK, you would apply as an EU student so would receive a tuition fee loan only, which is not based on household income so income wouldn't affect it at all.
If you have been living in the UK for 3 years prior to the course you could apply for additional funding as a home student. You could receive a non-income assessed maintenance loan, but if the household income is over £65000 you would not be eligible for any additional funding.
