    Hi!

I'm just wondering whether people fall for thier partners immediately or if it's something that takes a bit of time to happen!

    Thoughts?

    Thanks!

We were friends to start with but we definitely fell for each other instantly. The attraction grew and developed as time went on and even though we became best friends, we had to admit how we felt and have been together ever since.

It took time because we started as friends

A while. I didn't like him much at first Knew him for about a year and a half before we got together and according to his friends he'd liked me all that time. Feel quite bad saying it wasn't the same for me, haha.

Honestly? It was a love at first sight kinda thing as ridiculous as that sounds. We were both too scared to say something so we were best friends for 3 years; been together a year now

    One date. Therefore, 5 hours.

It depends what you mean by "fall for"...

The night we met, I saw my now-boyfriend across the dance floor and went over to introduce myself. We had one dance, then I went over to my little brother and, nodding towards my now-bf, said "How do you like the look of your future brother-in-law?"

I have no idea what made me say it, but apparently some part of my subconscious had already decided that this was the man I would spend the rest of my life with.

After we actually started dating (or "courting" as my gentlemanly bf likes to call it ), things had a more normal progression and, whilst I was always really, really keen on him, I probably didn't feel confident enough in myself to properly fall for him until a few months had gone by.

So, to answer your question; the subconscious part of my mind fell for him immediately, then it took my conscious mind a few more months to catch up

Well I've got a bit of a fear of heights so she was giving me a pep talk for a good few hours then someone pushed me off the wall tbh, scraped my knee but I got there in the end
