Hi folks, just wondering if anyone could give me any advice on this from your experiences.

I am writing a dissertation in finance and I am focussing on the spillover effects in equity markets from the news announcement of economic indicators in certain countries. (e.g Japan economic indicator news announcements affecting UK equity markets)

To do this I need some data. I am having a tough time finding it. I need:

    Exact date of announcement
    Actual value of announcement
Expectation of the value prior to its announcement (e.g general consensus in the market before announcement)

Does anyone have any experience with data like this or have any idea where I could find it ?
I was simply copying data from "economic calendars" like on teh Financial Times website but I don't think I will have enough time for this because of the volume of data required.

    Any help would be brilliant,

    Thanks very much
