I'm in exactly the same situation. My uni is absolutely awful and a total waste of money. Also being told that a lot of uni's wont accept mid year transfers this late on. I got told that they only really take them within the first 6 weeks of the course (not sure if that applies for everywhere or only the institutes I spoke to this morning) But yeah, the cut off point for fresh applications to start in September is 15th Jan, so either way things don't look great.
Have you had any luck at all ?
Hope you manage to get sorted ! Know how frustrating this can be

Talk to your tutors and tell them you want to drop out. Maybe try talk to UCAS about it? All I know is if you want to do another degree, if you leave in the first year then student finance will fund you through another 3 year course
