I was talking to my friend (girl) and I asked where what she is up to? She came on whatsapp, read the message but didn't reply. Then, I messaged again with a ? mark.

She came back on whatsapp again but still didn't reply.

Then I got angry. And I messaged again saying "why do you keep going on whatsapp but not replying?"

And then she replied. She wrote:

"I can come on whatsapp. I can do whatever I want"

And then she said "when someone doesn't reply, you need to wait"

I accepted my mistake and said my bad and then changed the topic.

    I'm at fault I know.

Usually when we talk, it's pretty much instant replies.

Maybe I am a bit insistent but I don't like when she does that. It feels like she is ignoring me and I guess I get a bit paranoid or something :/ I don't mean to in a bad way.

Anyway next time I won't "insist" again.

What are your thoughts on this?

I am NEVER like this with other people. I just send my message and they can reply whenever they wish. It's no issue.

It's only with this girl where I get agitated/angry/annoyed when she comes on whatsapp constantly but doesn't reply straight away.

How do I STOP this? And how do I not get upset about it and just act normal?

Has anyone ever had this problem?

    Please advise..

aw mate you like her and so the little lady has you wrapped around her finger haha, you can't control her but she knows you'd do nearly anything for now u'd you're going to have to show you're not wet by pulling back a bit, don't be so needy fam the girlies hate weak men I'm afraid to say

Pretty normal part of growing up. Usually you will grow more patient by learning in these ways that you can't depend on anyone else for your happiness and that trying to force relationships and conversations is counter-productive.

Do you like her more than a friend? I guess it's normal to feel a little upset when someone doesn't reply, however I'm quite patient unless it's urgent.
