I want to "mould" my body so that my chest is really lean and near the top I want to be a little bulky.

At the moment I'm a bit chubby. What kind of exercises do I need to do to become like this?

Am sorry for sounding so ambiguous!

Do you mean you wish to gain breasts?

although we don't know how chunky u actually are, it's the usual things:

1.Healthy eating
2. Various exercises - i would look to use more weight loss exercises first then later move onto the weights...(gym)
3. Do the above regularly
4. Don't over-do it or you could create more bad than good...

erm...well thats bascially it, just give it time and don't expect anything all of a sudden... commitment

Good luck

edit: presumed u were a guy?

Sounds like you want the classic V shape: wide shoulders, big traps, wide lats and big pecs, but with a thin waist.

With that being the case, I would recommend focussing on shoulder presses (dumbbell and barbell), shrugs, bench presses (dumbbell and barbell) and weighted pullups, though not neglecting any body part.

I'd steer clear of deadlifts unless you want a thicker waist.

But overall, to get bulkier you need to lift weights and eat more than you're burning (mainly carbs and protein) and to get lean and chiselled you will need to burn more than you're eating and reduce your overall bodyfat percentage.

Thanks for the reply

I am looking for the v-shape (a tight/squashed v) but I dont want my pecs to be massive. I want to look sleek if you get what I mean.

Is is the same for this?

Oh, I do! Me, me!

If that's what your goal is, don't bother lifting weights past a certain weight (i.e. when you're at the point that you're as bulky as you want to be) and then go on an extremely strict diet for about a year with no cheating whatsoever, and then you might be near Brad's bodyfat percentage in Fight Club.

But I doubt it. He's insanely ripped in that film, but with very little muscle.

You mean the manorexic look.

yea

Lol, it's not really manorexic compared to so-called 'bodybuilders' who dehydrate themselves to make their tone stand out.

Graft your head to B.Pitt's body.

You mean definition, not tone.

And I'm not sure why you have so called in inverted commas. Are you implying that they are not actually bodybuilders after all?

And you're saying that a 155lb man at about 6/7% bodyfat isn't anorexic compared to a 280/290lb man at 4% bodyfat? Ummmmmmmmm.... no.

I personally disagree that Brad Pitt's sort of build there is especially skinny, but a lot of guys do think that he's pretty skinny. I personally think he's more on the slim side of average.

C.Bale (Machinist) is especially skinny.

C.Bale (Machinist) is especially skinny.

Christian Bale is the ultimate character actor though. He lived on an apple a day to play that role. Simply unbelievable.

Then he added way more than 100lbs to his frame to play Batman in Batman Begins.

The man has insane genetics. I shudder to think of the impact he could've made on the bodybuilding world if he'd set his mind to it.

Ah, I put it in inverted commas because bodybuilding sounds like it should be healthy and fullfilling... yet doesn't really end up being.

And re. the manorexia thing, the body fat surely has nothing to do with it?
