    How are you feeling today?

Sorry if I have misunderstood but are you talking calpol and paracetamol? It is probably not the best idea as they both contain paracetamol and two tablets four times a day should be your max adult dose.

If your blocked nose is causing you problems could you try a decongestant like sudafed? They aren't great to use long term but for a couple of days they can be good.

I recommend taking an antihistamine before bed, one of the drowsy kind so Piriton for example!

In order to combat your sore throat, I recommend my holy grail of throat relief... difflam! It's a green liquid mouthwash that your gargle that relieves throat pain! You can only buy it over the counter but it's great! So if you go into your nearest pharmacy and ask for Difflam (benzydamine hydrochloride).

Food wise, I don't recommend anything too scratchy. Probably pasta with tomato based sauces or creamy based sauces if you find that too acid! Bread seems to be okay to eat if you get that tickly kind of sensation as it stops it feeling itchy!
