Minimum age eligibility

Hi

In all the text detailing eligibility and age it just talks about the upper age. what about lower age ie. a talented/excelling 16/17 year old starting a higher education qualification and age 16/17.

what support would these students be eligible for??
Hello,

This is the info that we have on students under 18:


"If you're under the age of 18 you can apply for student finance, and subject to the meeting of other eligibility criteria you can receive full student support.
According to law students cannot sign the Loan Request Form whilst under the age of 18, however when you reach the age of 18, you will be required to ratify the loan at this point."

So essentially, students can apply as normal, but there will just be some paperwork they need to sign when they turn 18.
