Apprehensive about settling in the UK

Cannabis is illegal in the UK, if you are caught you face "years" in prison.
Also, it's easy to make friends who don't go to bars every night and drink

If you get caught with cannabis in the UK, the worst they could do is issue you with a Cannabis Warning (if its under a certain amount) - not time in prison. The warning doesn't even go on a criminal record.

You may need to re-invent yourself, a bit. You won't necessarily be judged as a loser and "the culture" is more common than you probably think however you may be best to take part with the drinkers as well. Other than that you should be fine!

In all seriousness though, there's plenty of people in the UK who prefer smoking weed to drinking, it shouldn't stop you making friends!
