Hi Mark, 1 more question . If i self fund my first year (ambitious!) would I be able to apply for loans in year 2,3 . I guess i am asking if year 1 self- funded counts as third year of residency- if I start in 2016- or is residency based on where you are at with it when you actually start the course of study.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

Residency is based on how long you'd lived here when you actually started the course, so even if you self funded year 1, you would still be ineligible for the other 2 years. If you start the course in September 2017 you will be eligible to apply for funding.

    Thanks.
