I'm an overseas applicant. I've applied to the same type of taught masters programme at both Edinburgh and Bristol. Whilst Edinburgh gave me an offer on the condition that I provide them a satisfactory IELTS score, Bristol didn't ask for it. I don't really want to spend over £100 on IELTS, so I'm wondering if it's possible to ask Edinburgh to waive the language requirement?

Hi doctornuke, may I know from which part are you applying to?
You see, Even I applied to bristol and Edinburgh, and None of them asked for ielts, but gave me a conditional in my english examination. Same for Manchester
So I guess they might waive it off, Just write a mail asking them.

    hope it helps

You can by all means try, but don't expect success.
