I just feel constantly unhappy almost everyday. I have friends who are never really there for me even tho they constantly ask how I am,apart from one guy who happens to live in the same borough and he's a follow italian too. I used to have a confidante but he and I are worlds apart now.I don't like my life and genuinely wish to be happy. It's like ever since my parents passed away it feels like the ground just keeps shaking and Ive been running ever since. I have a lot of my plate right now with my health and with family not even being in the same country,it's been really difficult.
but how does one achieve happiness and what things can be done to help one feel content in life?
    are you truly content?
i have been to see a therapist and a psychologist friend of my late mother but still feel so withdrawn from life itself. I just constantly have to fake a smile.

If you really want to be happy you need to stop giving a **** about everything.

Many people will tell you that happiness is about appreciating the little things, about feeling useful and having something to look forward to.

The truth is that happiness is entirely dependent on how much power and wealth you have. I would suggest working towards a career that promises you an abundance of one or both of these things.
