I have received a conditional offer from the University of Northampton but I have also received a letter from them stating that "Provided you accept our offer as your firm choice, we will remove the academic grade conditions of the offer." I accepted Northampton as my firm choice over a week ago but it still says that it is a conditional offer on UCAS.

Does anyone know if this should have been changed on UCAS?
Is it possible for Northampton to not accept me if i fail to meet the initial grade conditions?
Has anybody accepted an offer like this before and can help me out?
    Thanks

It sometimes takes a while for Ucas to update Track. It doesn't matter. It will be fine. Universities cannot change the offer unless you have not been full and honest in the application you submitted, such as not declaring all results.

Thank you, that helps I was a bit worried that they may not be obliged to honor the offer as the unconditional offer was only sent in a letter and not on UCAS

Remember most applicants don't pick their firm/insurance until March or April time. You're a good 2 months before they expect to be dealing with this sort of work in any numbers so they may simply have not noticed that you've accepted the offer (and may not notice until it gets into late feb time and they start working through acceptances).

Only around 10% of applicants accept this early on in the cycle.

Wish one of my uni offers did this to me but will need to consider the conditional offer they gave me against my unconditional offers as I'd prefer not to take a conditional offer unless I got the same letter as u...lol

I emailed the admissions team and they told me that it would be updated soon. And it was updated about a week after
