is it normal? happens to everyone?

is it normal to sometimes see/remember numbers mixed up like, 5678 as 5768, or read things wrong like 'date rape' as 'don't rape', and write things down sometimes like 'bulk' as 'bluk'? and these things increasing with increasing pressure. I've noticed that it seems to be more obvious now at uni, than it was at skl.

Maybe you should get it checked out? It sounds a little bit like dyslexia but I'm no expert...Go see your doctor perhaps?

yeah that happens all the time. Especially if your writing fast, nothing to worry about really

i cant read telephone numbers properly...i have to read them like 8 times before ive got them right when writing them down. and when im reading them out i have to do it really really slowly

Yup perfectly normal, things like seeing 'date rape' are just a slip of the eye, at first glance you read it as that but its not a medical problem. Sometimes when writing, spelling things wrong can either be an effect of writing too fast or if you're concentrating on something you may accidently write it. IT'S NORMAL! x

I think its normal if you're reading stuff in a slightly mixed up manner once in a while, but if you're writing that way too.......then i'm not too sure ...

I think you answered it yourself with the ''increasing pressure'' bit.

Sounds like the kind of stuff that happens when you have added stress that you havent dealt with. Or you're confronted with loads of new things to grasp all at once.

Jeez that made me laugh out loud.

At 4am on the day of a deadline I have, on occasion, been known to make some fairly embarrasing and crude mistakes in my coursework.

It happens to the best of us
