A rise of 22% in one year........... I wonder what could be the cause ?

It would seem a lot of European countries have been seeing the similar trends, have Europeans just decided to start raping each other ?

Great picture of Jimmy Savile in the article.

The definition of 'rape' is broader than it used to be, and covers things that would not have been considered rape as recently as 10 years ago, so it makes sense there would be more incidents.

I would like to see these statistics broken down by ethnicity.

Sweden has 4 times more rape than the european average due to their liberal stance on asylum

The article doesn't say the number of sex offences has gone up, the number of REPORTED sex offences has gone up. Atleast if the articles language was consistent I think that's what it is saying. This is a good thing as most sex offences go unreported, and it does give a reason, because of Saviles exposure more people are coming forward than previously.

They have gone from the safest country for women in the whole of Europe to the rape capital of Europe in less than 20 yrs.
You have to wonder what could have brought this about.
