So I'm currently at the University of South Wales and I was studying Photojournalism. I find that the course is too restrictive and I also don't enjoy living in cardiff. I sent my application off to reapply to some of the unis that I applied to last year. I got higher grades than required but I'm sligtly scared that my referee(ex lecturer) has given me a bad reference or the universities that I reapplied to might have bad feelings towards me for not going last year. Has anyone done this before or know of people who are in the same boat as me. I keep doubting myself while waiting for the application process!

If you're concerned about your reference ring up UCAS and ask for a copy of your application under data protection rules. For a tenner they'll send you a copy of your full application including reference.

University admissions staff deal with hundreds or thousands of applications each year and they're well aware that the people they're dealing with are making big decisions for the first time in their life. IF they remember you from last year then they aren't going to hold it against you that you chose somewhere else - especially when you've come back to them a second time.
