    It depends on what levels of overdraft you think you d need in 1st year really. Their all fairly similar except some come with free railcards/ student card.

    I m with lloyds and get a £500 overdraft for year 1 ,increasing £500 every year and give you an nus extra card as well as offering a student credit card if you re really in need of extra money.

    I'm with Halifax (I was with them before) and i get 1000 overdraft, no railcards or anything but I never understand why everyone makes such a fuss about that...it's not like it's that expensive to buy one anyway
