getting flustered

hi. at work, i tend to get really flustered. i get really really easily embarrassed. i have identified that its because i overthink. big time. it feels as if i am the scary, teenage, male, embarrassed-looking til operator, and that no one wants to be served by me. i can have so little confidence in myself on the shop floor. i just feel vulerable, and as if all the customers and staff are looking at me, or are afraid to look at me, because i look embarrassed.. this is how i really, truly feel. i want to get over it. has anyone any tips for me?

just think to yourself you are who you are, and if these people dont like you then there not worth knowing

Chewing gum helps to take your mind off things. You are focussing too much on yourself. What you need to do is relax.

Smile, and try to act confident. After some time, it'll come to you naturally.

I was just about to say that. But yeah, stand tall, neck straight, head held high and smile. It might feel strange to put that on but it'll start feeling more and more natural the more you do it.
