You want dv/dt and you know dp/dt

If you differentiate you will have dv/dp

Apply the chain rule

Is dv/dp = e^p+2e^(1/2p)+1?

Why would they

If you differentiate 3p the 3 doesn't disappear so why would pi(p) make the pi disappear
