    I'm sure if you told them that you seriously liked him they wouldn't take the piss and support because at the moment it just seems like they're teasing you.

    Normally I would say stay friends - as dating a friend nearly always ends in disaster. However, if your going to split apart soon for university, go for it! If you already interact fine, just take it slowly to the next level and see what works.

    I would keep it on the low down from your mates, as whenever friends badger you into a relationship, it can make things really awkward. But sometimes people have a point!

    Take it slow and see if a relationship works naturally. If not, you may just be really good friends, and its pointless destroying a good friendship over a relationship.

    And if you do have friends badgering you (talking as a guy), it makes you ridiculously shy to engage so you will need to make the first move.
