I've written both work experience and volunteering roles I've done.

What have you done which makes you suitable for what it is that you are applying for?

Since you are only 16, you may find that most of what you write is about things you've done at school, which is okay at that age. (Well I'm only one year older than you). But once you get older, you'll be expected to write about outside of school activities.

    Upper sixth so year 13
    What subjects are you taking?

Right now, yes! You'll probably end up taking most of it out once you have more relevant things to write. What sort of field are you applying for? Make sure that you show you have gained the necessary skills.

If I remember correctly, my CV in year 12 was something like:
    • GCSE Grades, predicted AS
    • a list of skills and underneath things I've done to show I have them
    • I think it was two work experience's I mentioned

And now it's a list of things I've done and skills underneath

I'm applying for politics so I've mentioned things like Youth Parliament, working with an MP, Ambassador for a Parliamentary organisation, joining a political party etc
