Those people starting the rumours are probably just jealous because they don't have what you have.
It's a possability i suppose but by the sheer number of people saying that we flirt and whatever else we suposedly were doing I'm not so sure.

Well it's up to you whether you want to go, if your girlfriend trusts you then you should be fine.
