So, how possible is this? Anyone done this or heard of this happening?

Would an internship in consultancy help, or a commercial/business role at a corporate?

Mainly interested in mid office, risk management ideally.

Definitely possible for back/mid office. Not too sure about front office.

An internship in such roles can help, but you have to be able to tie them in and justify why you want to do banking after what you learnt through your internships.
