'friend' being over-caring

hey, recently I have just known this girl (im a guy) well. in the first few weeks we talked a lot of stuff and both of us enjoyed the time. But since in the middle of last week, I started to care everything about her ( and yes, I do really like her, but I dont wanna ruin our friendship that we built up). And sometimes, we both jokingly say that Im really like her mom. Now I just don't know how I should approach her cos friends care about friends right? :redface:

Just tell her you like her when you are BOTH drunk, at least then you can say you were drunk and you were joking. Instead of possibly ruining your friendship and if she feels the same way then you have ruined nothing

or maybe you can get a mutual friend to drop it into conversation with her

(for arguments sake we'll say your name is Luke)

get a mate to go "would you ever date Luke? I think he likes you and I think you two would make a nice couple". see what her response is

Don't tell her when you are drunk, that's just going to put you in a bad mood if it doesn't end the way you want it to. Don't use alcohol as a crutch!

It sounds like you haven't known her for that long, so it would seem unlikely that you haven't still got a chance in terms of attraction as opposed to the friend zone. You need to treat her like you would treat one of your guy friends though... if you're there on a plate for her, everytime, she isn't going to want you... you'll become her emotional tampon. Bust her balls every now and then, be playful with it. :smile:

Well it seems he really cares about this girl, and she seemed to joke he was just like her Mother, suppose ask her over a drink and tell her how you really feel.
