    I'm a digital artist applying for foundation diploma....BUT I really don't know if it is better to send a printed portfolio or a flickr one!
    I was going for the printed portfolio because I think it's more captivating
    Flickr is just wrong.

    Nah, Flickr is just hard to get used to. It took me days to know the site!

    As far as I know, online portfolio is what UAL prefers over printed portfolio.
    They've even created a video to encourage applicants to have an online portfolio
    and go full detail on what they want basically.
    Also, it doesn't really have to be Flickr.
    They say either a PDF file (not sure how this would work but it says on the video!)
    or a blog, a personal website, any form of online submission that you can send your URL to is perfectly fine.

    But I guess original portfolio could be okay too
