This is probably a very naive question to ask but that exactly is the difference between a f-buddy and a friend with benefits?

Essentially, the 'benefits' are that you both, well, f**k. They mean exactly the same thing.

I think a **** buddy is someone who you just meet to have sex with, and a friend with benefits is one of your mates who you have sex with. But I think it's fine to use them interchangeably.

Buddy = friend
Benefits = sex related
Sex related = f**k

Both mean the same thing, just one has more syllables.

I think they're pretty much the same.

Possibly friends with benefits means an actual friend, while **** buddy is more likely to be someone more random.
