I applied on January 15, and it's now January 23, so that's fairly quick.

I received an email from UCAS saying

"Something has changed on your UCAS application which could be due to..."

    - One of your choices has made a decision
    -You have received an interview
    - You have made your replies (I haven't)
    - You have withdrawn from a choice (I haven't)
    - Your reply to an offer has not been received at UCAS by the deadline given (i haven't replied)

I applied to York, Newcastle, East Anglia, Sussex and Liverpool for law.

I'm not checking because my anxiety is HORRIBLE at the moment (prozac withdrawal) and so I'm afraid if it's a no, it'll make my anxiety 10x worse which I can't handle at the moment.

I know this is an odd question as it's different, but I'm super anxious and nervous and can't bring myself to open it as if I'm rejected, I'll spiral allll the way down.

It could mean anything. It's just the way the admin at the university works, and they all work differently.

I got my first offer after 4 or 5 days after sending my application off. Just go and check it

I'm getting nervous for you since you haven't opened it yet!

UCAS is down btw so you can only check it after the weekend! The suspense is literally killing me

I'm not sure, I'm in Canada and it works perfectly fine for me.til I checked their Twitter and noticed they said it was down as well. Very odd.

It was just a conditional offer from one of my safe choices - Sussex for law - but it's still an offer nonetheless so I'm quite happy with it.

I'm really hoping for York and Newcastle though!

One of my unis got back to me within 2 hours and another took a couple of months, it all depends on how they go about giving offers (e.g. how many applications each member of staff is given to look over) and what part of the application they think is most important (a uni that prefers personal statements will take longer over each application than one that only considers grades.)
