Hi, I just completed a 4th year MEng exam. The issue is that for 2 out of 3 questions in section b, critical info was missing. It took the lecturer 1 hour to hand out the necessary info for one question & another 30 mins for the rest!

Due to having high coursework scores all I needed was 2 questions & the 2 I attempted were the 2 that had info missing (my luck). After complaining to invigilator I was told to "Fill out an Extenuating Circumstances form".

All participants in the exam have now recieved an email from the head of the course saying not to submit this form as "It's not the correct avenue for redress". We've been told to speak to our year rep. The time limit on 'extenuating circumstances' is 5 days, do you think we're just being 'fobbed off'??? What do you think I/we should do???

Speak to your year rep like advised, or alternatively your year head/course leader.
