"I have nothing to wear." watch

    • Thread Starter

'Kay guys. I've got work experience at a big hospital for the upcoming week and I have no idea what I'm going wear. A little bit of background on me: 90% of my closet is jeans and t-shirts. I'm starting to realise that these aren't "smart".

I've kind of started to panic because my friend also on placement has gone and bought dresses for this especially and I don't do that s**t.

I can kind of pass two days in cardigans with polos underneath. I also have two blouses, so can that do me another two days? I have comfy dress pants so that shouldn't be an issue. Footwear, I also have leather school-type shoes with medium size heels, so not too bothered about that. Basically I'll need to go shopping soon (which i really hate so, please guys, help make this ordeal as short as possible for me).

What it says on my appointment letter:
-Dress is smart- shirt, trousers, skirt, blouse, smart, comfortable shoes (no trainers).
-Students are advised that the departments can be very warm at times
-BARE BELOW THE ELBOW applies- students should wear short sleeved shirts, blouses or tops (or long sleeved attire capable of being rolled up).

The point is: what should I buy???

thanks for all the help guys. You've no idea how much i appreciate it.

Do you agree with the proposed ban on plastic straws and cotton buds?
