Tomorrow I have a practical on unknown inorganic compound and it's to do with flame tests. I don't really know what I should learn apart from the flame tests...also how does the whole practical work- do I need to know all the topics in the syllabus related to flame tests??? basically what will I need to know?

I'm guessing you should learn the common reactions and what colours the products give off. I think you get a paper /14 or /12. So make lots of notes and scribble bits down on what colour change it originally was etc and what colour it changed to and why this could be.
